It seems to me it was better when I first joined, however it could just be that it was new. Just wondering what other people think.

I really don't like how the mods refer to this as the "kiddie room" every time they do so either.

Pretty much the same ... you've just got to pick and choose your threads carefully sometimes to avoid the crud.

As long as they do so tastefully instead of flaming like in the P&N, no problems.
OT is fun but check out some of the other forums. The hardware and Hot Deals are always good.

I think the level of homoeroticism has gone down a bit. I miss that.
 
I belong to numerous forums, some adult forums included. Only recently joined this board. But what I have noticed over the past several years is that as these boards/ forums increased in popularity, the age of the poster went from the 30s and 40s to the 20s and teens. Then the intellectual level of the posters started waning. The maturity of the posts sometimes is lacking, and the mutual respect seems to fly out the window in the posts. But it is not just with this board, I see it on many others as well.

its been getting worse and worse every day. when i 1st joined it was pretty cool and lots of people were posting interesting things. now its like bleh...
 
Gets worse every day. People think they're getting smarter and tend to make smartass comments about everything. It's sad really.
