hmm.. who's that? hehe

just a few of the posts in that thread. im not an uptight person and believe in freedom of speech but those comments are way beyond offensive.

this is just one thread of a what appears to be a daily thing in OT
i wont be posting in off topic area again thats for sure. i want nothing to do with those people.
i know every forum may have a few people who are kinda rough around the edges and i dont let them bother me, but that seems to be the general attitude there and the majority.

I have seen some tasteless threads that ive been able to turn my head and look the other way but lack of class doesnt even touch this.

I realize that your argument states that the forum is on a decline but I would have hoped that you provided better evidence than that....b/c its out there. Sorry, but you state you're not uptight but that thread isn't bad at all...especially considering its in the wrong forum.

Missing bride to be suggests she ran away from the wedding.
Even though LATER it's posted she was abducted, the first posters probably didn't know, and consequently wouldn't care if a woman who has run away from getting married is found.

lol, look at the context of the situation and where the thread is at...seriously. I dunno how long you've been around OT, but if something is in the wrong forum...you can bet a serious conversation will not be seen.

/me thinks you have too thin of skin...

I'm with him. I think you are uptight. I mean come on...some woman was found safe.

Nobody seriously responded with "Man, I wish that woman was dead"

It was the middle of the night and nobody had even heard of this story.

Well, just make sure you don't venture into Politics and News subforum rhino, you'll never logon to the forums again. OT is mild in comparison.

this was just one slight example of the ot attitude. you people know exactly what im talking about. its not just one thread or one thing. its whats allowed and accepted as normal behavior.
its the commonly accepted disrespect of others really, i think the people who do have some class need to pull together and clean the place up.

LOL, ATOT late night and early morning is a refuge for sleep deprived Social Misfits and Austrailians who are still working out the nuances of intelligent conversation.;)

Offensive? As it turns out, the comments were right on target.
CNN) -- A Georgia woman, who was found in New Mexico early Saturday and who said she had been abducted, admitted today she had made up the story because she was nervous about her upcoming wedding, police said.
