I've really tried to like his show. I've listened to it on and off over the last year that our local sports station has had it. But he's just too friggin irritaing for me personally. The 'takes' by the callers (I mean "drones") are moronic to me personally. I'd rather hear a show where the caller actually interacts with the host rather than have the callers simply read their prearranged smacktalk while the host stands back and only waits until AFTER he cuts off a caller to talk smack about the caller (if it was a bad 'take' of course.) Rome obviously gets some great big name interviews because of his huge audience, but I don't think he's a particularly good interviewer. I wish we could get Dan Patrick instead, but they just renewed their contract with Rome for another year.

I actually don't mind his TV show though.

They started him in Chicago about a month ago. I listen to it ocassionaly. He says some funny crap.

Dumped his ass here in CLT. I listened for a few months, thought it was funny, was sad to see it go, but then again I can see how it gets old after awhile. Now we get Dan Patrick.
