Off to get my 1700+ XP

Gday,

I'm just about to go on my way to pick up some new parts to upgrade my ageing Duron 700@910 system.

I've settled on the following
- Athlon XP 1700+ with my current FOP32-1 HSF *should* reach 1.6 GHz with a little luck
- 256MB Crucial PC2100 DDR
- Epox KT266A motherboard

This should add about 4 WUs a day to my production at least!! If anyone can post the most aggressive memory timings for this motherboard, that would be greatly appreciated, so I can maximise my WU production!! I'll see you all in about 8 hours or so and let you know the results!

Looks like a nice system.
I am running my 1.4ghz Athlon XP 1600+ at just over 1.6ghz on a Shuttle KT266A mobo.

4 WUs a day? Yeah right... You should be able to do 6 a day at the worst memory timing . I have the very same board with a 1800+. If you have any question in setting it up, don't hesistate to ask me my friend. Good luck

just tell her winxp works best with athlon xp. . i would like to know your strategy also... even though i'm far from getting married, i need to pick up some tips so i'm ready when the time comes.
