Off the Shelf HTPC for a Novice

People,

I am novice and would like your advice on selecting a HTPC for multimedia streaming to a smart tv. I plan to use XBMC software for control and intend to connect it to a NAS for all my media storage. A suggestion on a suitable NAS also would help. And a Bangalore dealer where i could buy both.

I was looking at ATV 3 until now, but since jail break is not available yet, looking for alternatives.
