**off/on topic** You guys do care!! :) Name My RC572 Stats program!!!

Ok I just started writing a php based stats program for RC5-72. So far I just writen a script to parse the log files and enter it into a datbase. Once it is in there i can process it in any number of ways. My goal is to offer near realtime stats . The ability to group several acocunts together for sub teams in a my stats kind of thing. Plus all the normal stats you can get now with ppstats.

The initial version of this will run on PHP and postgreSQL. I do plan to write one for mysql version 4, once I get done with the first release of this.

Unfortunately I am on dialup, so I can not share my local web development box with you guys to guage the status of development. Perhaps when it is ready for beta testing I will seek a few brave volunteers.

Anyways back to the topic of this whole thing.

What shall we name it?

Hey Adyl...

Nice to see some other TeAm member working on a DC stats page..
I'm also working on one of my own.. But that's for the UD project. (United Devices )
Still waiting for my webspace. But when I have my own part of the network it will be fast!
I will also be using PHP and MySql, so if I have any room left, you could join in..
The connection will be a 8900kbps down and 1024kbps up line..
PC is a Xeon 733 1MB 1GB Ram, unlimited HD space (well, limited to about 200Gb ) ... Running BSD.. Fast enough I guess...
I won't be doing much more than handling my 20.000 queries/day..

I am hoping to do something similar with the Seventeen or Bust project, I just need to learn PHP/SQL! So i may be asking you (and CyGoR) some questions if you don't mind!


Adul, I am running a server here at home, it's only a cable connection, it's an XP1800+, 384MB ram, with about 10gb free on the HDD, running PHP4, MySQL 4, Perl and Apache, but it's hardly used, so if you wish to use it for dev. then let me know, and I'll set you up an FTP account, and you can use it for testing
