Off/Non-traditional HDD brands

I happened across a wikipedia list of hardware manufactures, and saw a couple surprises under hard drives. In additon to WD, Seagate, Samsung, Toshiba, and Hitachi, there were three others.

Has anyone heard anything about, or had any experience with, hard drives from TrekStor, Simmtronics, or CnMemory or are more serious. I can't find much information on any of them (or much in English, at least), so I'm not sure if they're just rebranding drives? Simmtronics seems to have it's own fab, though.

Anyone know anything else at all about these things?

What about "JTS" (just total sh*t)? I knew someone that resold their drives for a while.
JTS = Juge Tandon Systems? Tandon was an early maker of 3.5" hard drives and sold its business to a niche chip manufacturer, Western Digital. I remember Fry's carrying JTS Champion drives and the electronics being inside the sealed section, a feature JTS said improved reliability but likely worsened it due to hotter temperatures and perhaps outgassing from the electronic components.

The last off-brand I saw was Excelstor, which made knock-offs of IBM Deskstars.
