The Pioneer doesnt include the XM receiver and both are used. Of course the Pioneer is also cheaper.

k but could you explain why? Pioneer just better? I don't wanna go with the Pioneer just because the Panasonic got one bad review(could have been defective). Again it doesnt include XM receiver.

So even though the Panasonic has a nicer display the pioneer is better? Anyone here know enough about car audio to be able to say which is really better? Not having a volume knob doesnt matter to me.

Pioneer makes high quality head units. Panasonic makes crap. What else to you need to know? If you only care about appearance then get the Panasonic. Just don't expect it to have good sound quality, or to last.

Panasonic has decent decks, but pioneer's lower end is better IMO.

i prefer pioneer receivers for home theater, but i have a panasonic deck in my car and can definately recommend it.
