OEM vs Retail Opteron: Best chance for good stepping?

I'm new to oc'ing and want to get a good stepping. Based on the current supply situation, do you think I'm more likely to get a good stepping on an OEM vs a retail? 146 vs 148?

Shouldn't be any difference between OEM and Retail. The only place I see them in stock (146s) now is Monarch for $200. The retail is actually $1 cheaper than the OEM, so go for the retail. Can't hurt to have a free stock HSF.

My 148 was a retail box and I got a CABYE 0540.

I just pulled the trigger on an OEM 148 with 3 yr warranty. I was a couple of bucks short in my Paypal account so I couldn't get the retail. I figured the AMD warranty was a moot point anyway since I plan to OC the sucker and I didn't need the heatsink (got an XP90 and 120 for that. Not sure why I shilled out for the Monarch warranty, but in case I break a leg and can't play with my toy for 6 months and find out it's dead, I'll be good.
