oem video cards?

This is probably a dumb question, but whatever. We see ATI Radeon X800 PRO Retail cards for around $400 nowadays. If it didn't include 3 games and all the driver/whatever CDs, wouldn't the cost go down significantly (unless they get the games for free somehow)?. These games are $30 full edition ones, correct? That should knock a chunk off the price, but I haven't seen an OEM video card in ages. I'm just curious, anybody know why?

The Fry's here in Vegas sells quite a bit of OEM cards. I'd say about 35-40% of their entire Video Card section are OEM's....

Well that's very interesting. Even modern GeForce 6800s or ATI X800s?

Newegg lists 108 OEM to 652 Retail so there are plenty to choose from. There are 5 total Sapphire X800 Pro cards. Why?

I personally won't buy anymore OEM video cards as the price difference is too minimal to worry about.

Yeah, they had a few 6800 Ultra's OEM as well. Not sure about x800's though.
Most of the OEM's were low to mid range cards, like the FX 5xxx and the ATI 9xxx series.
