I received an email from MWAVE with this deal: OEM ATI RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB 8X AGP DDR $205. I've seen the Radeon 9800 Pro for about this price in other threads. It looks as though ATI is lowering the price of their core GPU chip in anticipation of nVidia's new product release. So, don't be in a rush to buy the 9800 Pro. I think the price will decline further in the weeks to come.

Also, the new PCI Express 16x will arrive in volume within 6 months. This will render AGP 8x obsolete. :Q

hehe, funny, a month ago the newegg saphire refurbs were going for $226 and there was a stampede to get them everytime they were in stock. Now an OEM for less then $220 and no one even cares

I ordered a retail (not OEM) for $169ish 2 days ago. That could be why. Although, this isn't too shabby of a price.

$199 now....That's below the 200 mark without having to deal with rebates =)

What's the diff between oem and retail, other than the box...warranty?

Add shipping for true cost, and OEM warranty is 1 year vs. 3 years for Retail.
