Is there much of a performance difference with this card running at 297/267 to the regular 9700 pro speeds of 325/3010 or should i try to get the real card out of cyberpower seeing that i payed 350$ for a under-spec card?

There sould defiely be a difference. You practicly got a Non-Pro for a Pro price. Also when did you buy it, as Best Buy, Circuit City have reatail 9700 Pros for $300. If you can I recomend getting a refund and buying it for less, but at the very least get a true Pro card instead.

You bought a Dell, dude! At least a Dell video card. I believe you have a 9700 Ultra (ATI OEM Version Radeon 9700 Pro (Dell OEM Product)) which is most definitely NOT a real PRO. Check your order paperwork very carefully and make sure that you did in fact order the retail PRO version. If you did, then I would definitely call them and get it switched as you are missing a fair amount of speed. A real 9700 PRO has 2.8ns memory on it.

My PowerColor 9700 NON-PRO has 3.3NS Memory and is also clocked at 297/267. Looks like you got ripped!
