I remember waiting for the Kyro. It was going to be the one that took down the big 2. And then, not so much.

I once bought a used Kyro 2 to stick in a family member's PC. Worked great for several years, but eventually ran into a MAJOR problem. For some reason, the computer hosting the kyro2 could only have up to 512mb of ram! Got rid of the card and stuck and old Geforce 2 or 3 in the box and never looked back ... Still runs well to this day ... hah
