Who wants to bet that internal D NY polling looks like total ass. The NY Dems certainly have a lot of problems on their own already many of which are self inflicted but Biden's issues could magnify them.

NY Dems might want to take a seat after they fucked up redistricting, fucked up implementing a huge climate-forward policy (congestion pricing), and just being general screwups at the local and state levels.

TBH I don't think that Biden has dementia, I just think that he's old.

Then you better find someone new because even if Biden get in 4 years is not a long time to find someone if you feel no one is suitable now!
Well, if he wins, he can't run again anyway, and if he loses, the status of the 2028 election gets much, much murkier.

I don't disagree however if I see someone like Kathy Hochul coming to my defense, who arguably has the worst political instincts of any governor in the country, I might think twice about my decisions.

I kinda meant the greater point about planning to have the best candidates in the future but yeah, Trump won't be an issue then!

Hey now, don't mix up NYC with the rest of us, we're doing okay upstate :p

My house congresscritter is even a progressive Republican (though he may be the only one).

I am worried that Biden might lose. And lose in a race that shouldn't even be close.
A couple of months ago I was confident that Biden would win it. Now I'm 50/50 and I hate it.
Why should the race not be close? There are two main party's in the U.S., with most of the population belonging to one of the two. The last landslide election was in 1984, and that was only an 18% difference in the popular vote. I expect to see this election won by a slim margin, even after the country suddenly noticed that Joe isn't doing well. It's almost always just a very small group of undecided voters that swing the election one way or another.
For the record, I still think Joe has it in the bag. He'll get the democrat vote as long as he's breathing.

Erm, you just listen. Don't try to beat them into compliance. Try hearing them, understanding their concerns, and have an open discussion regarding options, even if they are limited.

You know, treat people the way you'd prefer to be treated...?

You should take your own advice. Have you listened to any of the questions I’ve asked? Have you answered any of the questions I’ve asked? So who exactly isn’t listening because I have answered peoples questions.

Yep, people can just cast their gaze over to the Republicans on this one too. Trump isn't the nominee because he's the most electable person, he has it because he has an iron grip on the party's base.
And he has sold his soul to the highest bidders and has the instincts of an assassin.

Again, if that’s what you envision then nothing needs to be done. Harris will get to choose her VP should something happen to Biden. So unless you’ve got a particular candidate in mind right now, you’ve got nothing.

I don't think Biden has what it takes to secure a victory against Trump in November. Harris is the better pick at the top of the ticket to run against Trump.

Well mainly because one candidate is an angry orangutan that can't string a coherent sentence together and has tried once to over rule the will of the people, is a bit of a paedophile, a crook, has incited violence against his opponents...

Honestly got bored listing his issues but you get the message!

I'd vote for his lifeless corpse over any Republican, not just Trump. If you were smart, you'd do the same, but we all know how that goes.

If you listen to the polling that Biden is losing to Trump you should probably also listen to the same polling that says Kamala would lose by a larger margin.

There is still no conclusive evidence that Biden has dementia. I don't even think there is strong evidence. Hell there is more evidence that Trump has dementia...
But but but a neurologist visited the WH 8 times. But but but Hunter is sitting in on meetings. But but but Biden couldn’t take a meeting with the German chancellor and Blinken had to cover for him. But but but why won’t he agree to a cognitive test.

Yup idiotic rumours the media is using to show he has dementia.

Like he has a Dr with him whenever he leaves the WH. So he’s constantly being monitor. It’s a dereliction of his duty if he allowed any type of mental and physical issue not be diagnosed, reported and treated.

But yet we have all these bedwetters complaining and they admit they haven’t met Biden in person in a long time. Let’s ignore the WH Dr. Let’s ignore Jill. Nah apparently she’s playing puppet master. Let’s ignore all the high ranking Dems that have met with Biden daily and dont have any concerns. Nah let’s believe the WH staffer rumours that his closest advisors are hiding his condition

And it’s stupid that a test of their mental fitness is to stand there for 2 hours and answer media questions???

I don't care how weird an area is, a true progressive would never self identify as a Republican. It's like deciding to be a progressive Nazi.
Indeed. All the progressive Republicans I know are calling for Trumps assassination.

Let's also ignore all the campaign events Biden has gone to since the last debate. It's not like he's hiding in a closet.
