When the stakes are as high as they are, words are but the game we play while the pretense of civility holds.
And again, engagement in conversation is for the benefit of any wayward observers. NOT the primary participants.

If science tells us this shit is contaminating the environment, is found in all bodies of water... and in the bodies of ALL living things....
The logical conclusion is that Democrats would be opposed to making the issue worse. We would look for solutions to solve the growing problem.
And Republicans are full throttle in favor of making it worse.

  • "Because it is good for business"
  • "Because opposite position of Democrats"
    Etc.
Imagine the most degenerate process, and that is Republican defined.

Actually, in other countries campaigns are a lot shorter than in the USA. 107 days to the general will not cause paroxysms of laughter abroad. Get your bearings. And it is clear that what prevented the passing of a comprehensive bipartisan border/immigration policy bill was Trump's objection because he didn't want to lose his pet jab at the current administration. His stranglehold on the Republican party is poison, and making that known to the voters is fundamental for the Democratic party until the election, for the good of the country at large.
