The only reason that would need to campaign is that the voting population contains a large portion of idiots. There isn’t a person capable of objective thought who is going to vote for Trump.

Unfortunately Biden is too much of an idiot to tell this to the American people after being handed by the Supreme Court the power to stay in power regardless of how the people vote. He can martial law as an official act to save the country fron a fascist takeover, replace the Supreme Court, and jail the traitors in the House and Senate. And pass whatever laws are required to insure criminal psychopaths can’t come to power. Then he can retire.

Personally, however, if it were up to me, I would play by the rules and let the fascists take over because it would really be too much emotionally if the idiots and scum wound up hating me for saving them. I’m not God. Rules are rules and bad people are the ones who don’t play by them. I’m a good boy Mommy.

He's observably more competent and functional than that corpse Reagan ever was and there's really no sign that he can't run the country as things have been running better than they have in more than a decade (based simply on plain, observable facts, of course, and the current state of the rest of the world).

Personally I think he's fine to finish up his term. As much as I like him though, I don't want Joe in 2025-2029.

Reading a lot of complaints and anger from inside the Biden core advisors that he was not provided a more dignified way to drop out of the race. Which ignores reality that he got told privately in explicit terms some time ago by the three most important leaders in the party not named Barack Obama that their members had lost confidence he could win and that he should withdraw. Most of the party has withheld fire so far. Things do not get more dignified from here if he choses to drag things out.

The only thing I blame Biden for was agreeing to the debate.

Trump never showed up for a debate and won. Biden shoulda done the same!
