I'm betting Trump will not indicate he implied Comey should stop investigating Flynn before noon 5/17

If he does I'll post stuff that's mildly difficult to do within 24 hours and you can decide.

Dunno, all I know is that Comey is prolly gonna reveal some major shit this week when he testifies, I think Thursday. Given how good of a notetaker he is (remember, he's the same guy from the NSA wiretapping scandal, who famously objected when Ashcroft was pressured in his hospital bed for wiretapping re-authorization), I'd say we're due for a good deal more revelations.

I don't know about betting. Trump can be hard to predict. He could even admit he said it. Given recent events, it's more than possible.

It's a basic he said/ she said situation unless Trump really was dumb enough to have Oval Office communications recorded.

If there's anyone left who actually cares about him or has any sense of self-preservation, they've done exactly that. All he's going to do is implicate himself (and others) further if he continues tweeting about this.

At the very least, I expect his kids will try to get him to shut up. Those late night/early morning tweets have a serious dementia vibe though, so I don't think he can help himself.

Yeah I'm sure you're right, which is incredible since Trump's motive to lie here is to avoid a potential obstruction charge and possibly impeachment, and Comey's motive is...pretty much nil. Not to mention that Trump has lied about 300 times over the past 2 years while I can't recall Comey ever being accused of lying, even by those who criticized him for various decisions he made. It's patently ridiculous to side with Trump in this situation but that obviously won't stop conservatives from doing so.
