Ok check it out I install the Omega drivers and get my 9800nonpro with The 333mhz ram on it to hit 490Core 340Mem but on some DirectX9 games I get artifacs Like Max Payne 2 and Halo. So I lower it to 475Core 330Mem and every thing is kosher. Im playing thru jedi Academy later and keep seeing these annoying flashes of white light that make the whole sceen disapear so trying to get rid of that annoying factor I install the 3.8 cats and suddenly cant overclock for crap? Max I hit now is 432Core 310Mem?? WTF gives?

Are the omega drivers lieing about the overclock I get or are the 3.8 cats not allowing me to overclock? Anybody else experience this before?

The latest omega drivers based on the leaked dell drivers are supposed to have some issues with higher gpu temperatures. Also it has been said that cat 3.8 do not overclock as well on some systems.

The new Omega Cats up the heat big time to those cards (it was tested over @ www.rage3d.com). Stick with the ATI Catalyst drivers. 475 core sounds pretty high, and if you're getting flashes on the screen that's most likely artifacts from having the core so high.
