Can't find too much on the 'net about this...I don't know why, but it just seems impossible for me to find an ideal wireless keyboard/mouse combo for my needs.
I started with an MX700 key/mouse combo (Logitech's Cordless MX Duo?). Nice, but I didn't like the clickiness of the keyboard, and the mouse wasn't a high enough resolution.
I have most recently ended up with the Logitech LX700 combo. This has actually been "added" to my setup. One receiver is hooked up to one computer, and the LX700 is hooked up to another. I only use the LX700 however and have the open source synergy for sharing it.
Since the mouse included with the LX700 is quite bothersome, I've ended up with an LX7 wireless mouse on the same computer. While I'm not a fan of how skinny it is, it is great for mobile, has a nice long battery-life span, and has a noticeably higher precision that my previons MX700 mouse. So, that makes receiver #3.
My current problem - Sometimes, if I'm typing on the keyboard, the mouse lags per each tap on the keyboard. So, if I sit there and tap CTRL over and over, and move the mouse at the same time, the mouse pauses for every tap.
Gaming is impossible, and the issue seems to be inconsistent. That is, sometimes after booting its not a problem, and sometimes it is.
I'm thinking of getting a G7 as the price drops, but I don't think its compatible with either of my current logitech receivers...
