Odd Vertex 3 performance results, I do something wrong?

I just build a computer recently and bought the OCZ Vertex 3 as my SSD, and ran CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 and here are the results I got:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 x64 (C) 2007-2010 hiyohiyo
Crystal Dew World : http://crystalmark.info/
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
* MB/s = 1,000,000 byte/s [SATA/300 = 300,000,000 byte/s]

Sequential Read : 471.341 MB/s
Sequential Write : 170.196 MB/s
Random Read 512KB : 419.709 MB/s
Random Write 512KB : 170.528 MB/s
Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 34.326 MB/s [ 8380.4 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 72.442 MB/s [ 17686.0 IOPS]
Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 113.648 MB/s [ 27746.1 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 166.836 MB/s [ 40731.4 IOPS]

Test : 1000 MB [C: 49.0% (54.7/111.7 GB)] (x5)
Date : 2011/04/16 2:10:16
OS : Windows 7 Ultimate Edition SP1 [6.1 Build 7601] (x64)
Drive: OCZ Vertex 3, 120 gig, SATA III[/I]

Why are my sequential writes, hell, my writes in general low?

Here is my build just for more info:

CPU: i5-2500k Sandy Bridge, 3.3 Ghz
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
M/B : ASRock P67 Extreme4 LGA 1155
Video: XFX Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5
SSD: OCZ Vertex 3 120 gig
OS: Win 7 Ult, 64 bit

I have 60 gig free space on my SSD. I have AHCI enabled in my bios and I'm sure I put it on the SATA III port on my MB.

Is there a setting or something I forgot to do that could result in this?

Yeah you have to go to "file", "test data", then "0-fill" in Crystal to get the benchmarks that you see in the reviews.

It seems stupid to me. They should use the program in its default configuration.

*edit* I guess using random data might not make the test "fair", though.
