i was driving to radio shack and was stopped at a light. in my mirror i see tons of smoke pouring into the street from an office building about a block back. the smoke is white and is quickly covering the road.
because this was a quick trip to radio shack (around the block from me) i didnt bring my cell phone. but when i get into the store i ask the guy behind the desk if he could contact the fire department about it. of course they already know by the time the guy calls so i figure thats all there is to it.
unfortunatly the smoked building is on the only street back to my place...but when i pass the area, i see three fire engines driving around the block in circles attempting to find the building...which, to my surprise, is no longer smoking!
everyone is confused...the fire department seems to think it was just a misunderstanding about the amount of smoke...but the entire street was covered in it!
anyway, its weird.
