odd server 2008 remote desktop issue

anytime I remote desktop into my server 2008 R2 either from my dekstop or my laptop. My hp photosmart software pops up and say it printing. Both my desktop and laptop are using windows 7, software up to date on desktop, laptop and server. any suggestions what may be causing this odd issue?
 
Remote Desktop allows you to share printers over the connection. I suspect your issue is related to that feature being enabled.
