Odd request: Anyone wanna goto Los Angeles early June? (tomorrow that is)

I will be driving to LA next week for my buddy's graduation and looking for anyone who's interested to come along. I will probably leave around June 8 at night (Tuesday). My trip will start from Springfield, MO ending in Alhambra, CA (or somewhere near downtown LA).

I will take 44 West, 40 West, 15 South, and then 10 West.

Major cities that I will pass are Joplin, MO; Oklahoma City, OK; Amarillo, TX, Albuquerque, NM; Flagstaff, AZ; Barstow, NV; and cities around the San Bernardino Valley. I may be able to pick up / drop off you in areas off and around the route.

PM me if anyone is or know anyone who is interested; heck, reply to this thread for a bump.

oh yeah, now the details.

1) my car can comfortably sit one (1) in the front. it has tiny seats at the back. The car is a Toyota celica. as shown here: http://fp.images.autos.msn.com/merismus/gallery/c430544a.jpg
2) If we can take turns driving, we can make it in less than a day.
3) Return Date is probably June 15. However, I canNOT guarantee a return trip that will fit your schedule but I will try.
4) and finally, the cost depends on where I pick you up and drop you off. Range from $10 to $40 bucks. Discount if you can take turns driving.

that is going to be one fugly ass road trip.........consider amtrak yourself or even priceline a cheap ticket.......driving that distance is not worth it mentally or physically...

I need my car there. coz I will also be driving to San Diego. Also, I will be driving back with some bulky stuff that I left in LA

and yes, considering the gas prices, going via Amtrak or flying is cheaper.

40 West hits I-15 right smack in the middle between California and Las Vegas; 2 hours down south you will see Riverside, 2 hours up north you will see Sin City.

yup, they don't call it the Bible Belt for nothing, there's like 12 churches in the town (Marshfield) I am living in, with the a population of 6000, 0.002 church per captia, not a bad ratio... but I do see plenty of drinking and partying going on in downtown Springfield, so i can always retrieve my sanity if I wanna (heck, there's TWO strip clubs there too!)

living here is alright, there's a surprisingly a few Californians that moved here... they ALL unanimously asked me "What the hell made YOU move out here?" I will always says 'work', then they shook their heads, and I will ask them the same question, and they will all say "Urrr... I dunno" or some excuse.
