Odd Quirk: Phone Numbers Don't Display

I first noticed this a few weeks ago. I open a web page, let's say Craig's List, and I am looking at an ad. The page and ad displays fine, with the exception of the phone number. It just doesn't appear on my screen. If I hit refresh, the number will appear momentarily before vanishing again.
Never saw this before, never heard of this before. Anyone?
Running Windows XP SP3, IE8.
 
I do have Skype installed. But it is almost never opened, (I rarely use it), and I don't have any of their other stuff installed. . .at least that I'm aware of.
