Odd question: Wireless signal & Foil faced foam

I am going to be installing foil faced foam in between my basement ceiling floor joists. My router is in the basement; will the foil affect the wifi coverage at all?
 
Honest answer is nearly nothing to nearly deading the signal. It is this vague because shielding is contingent on the length and size of the metal that is acting as the shield etc. Odds are that it will effect the signal in a negative way. If I had to guess... I would throw out 20-30%
