i just reinstall winxp sp3 to drive c. after the setup completed, i noticed drive e has two new folders called "1859e15a0563322ef9" and "9405551dc54c00891b0360c2f7", subfolder is "amd64" and "i386". what is this? how to remove them properly?
They are leftover temp directories from either windows updates (from what I have seen, usually related to msxml updates). you can boot into safe mode to delete them is the easiest way
