Odd Problem

I've seen similar problems posted here before, but I can't seem to find any of the threads, so ill make a new one...

Everytime I go to boot up my computer after it has been off for awhile, BIOS can't detect any HD, but when I the computer on and off again, it boots windows up normally. At first I thought it might be a powersupply problem, but I have plenty of power (430w enermax whisper) and all the voltage levels are right where they should be. Either way, I tried a few different connectors w/ the same result. Any suggestions? I do have an 60gig IBM 120GXP, so im wondering if it is not simply dying. Help!

IBM GXP series harddrives are notorious for just failing for no apparent reason. My suggestion is that you make a backup of all your improtant files before it completely dies........and invest your money in a different harddrive
