Hey guys,
This isn't really a problem since it doesn't seem to be hurting anything, but it is rather . . . odd.
I've been running both of my harddrives off of this Promise ATA100 card my father got me for Christmas (BH6 = only ATA33). Anyway, everything was working fine, but for some reason at boot-up the thing doesn't show my second harddrive (the non-ATA100 capable drive). I just noticed this today, but I do know for a fact that it used to report both harddrives at the Promise screen during bootup. Now it only shows the one (ATA100) drive. The odd thing is though the drive works fine in Windows. It shows up in the system manager and I have no problems accessing any of the partitions or files on those partitions (I only use it for miscellaneous file storage and the windows swap file, no apps run off of it).
Do I need to worry about this. Is this a sign of a soon to be dead harddrive or something? It's just really weird. Thanks if anyone has any ideas.
