About 2 days ago I started getting the following message while signed onto instant messanger:
AOL System Msg: Your screen name (xXxXx) has signed in from another location. This screen name is currently signed in at 2 locations. To sign off the other location(s), reply to this message with the number 1. Click here for more information.
So I would hit 1 and sign the other account off. Every hour or so, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer, this happens again. If I am not around while this happens to sign the other off, I get autoresponses from the people it IMed and often times get warned, but I cannot see what was sent. I changed my password several times and it did nothing.
Finally, exasperated with this mess, I reformated and reinstalled windows, did everything fresh and the problem is still happening which I find odd. Nobody has access to my password, and even if they did, i've changed it about 10 times now, so there is no way for them to find it out. The account is linked to an email address that is long gone, so no one is reading that and finding the pw, so it must be lifted off my computer or something. Does anyone have any idea of what would cause this?
