I have Diskeeper set to run every night at 3am, but instead of running it tells me: "Diskeeper has detected that CHKDSK is scheduled to run ont he volume: (C: )..." and it continues on. I am running Win 2k SP4 and Diskeeper 8.0.478.0. I have edited BootExecute in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager to say "autocheck autochk *" as per the suggestions of some with my same problem, but this did not help. I also tried the chkdsk and chkntfs commands to exclude drives, but the exact command eludes me right now. I am completely stumped and I would like to solve this without reinstalling Diskeeper. If it is my OS's fault, then oh well because I am not in a reformatting mood
. Thanks in advance for the help.
Edit: will be out of town for the weekend so it is unlikely I will have pc access until tuesday
