odd problem with a cd I burned

I had a HD that wouldn't boot but I was able to access the data on it when I put it in as a slave in someone else's computer. I burnt a bunch of MP3s to a CD using winXPs built in CD burning. Now when I put the CD in my drive, only about half of the files are showing. The odd thing is that when I right click on the CD and go to properties, it shows an amount of used space that is consistent with how many files I originally put on there. Does anyone know why these files aren't showing up and if it's possible for me to access them?

I dont know if it will work but I would try and do a dir on the cd right click one of the mp3's click copy and paste it to the desktop and see if it will play from there.

Are the "missing" files listed as *.cda files?
