Odd power supply issue - dead or fixable?

I'm trying to figure out if my power supply is dead and needs to be tossed in the garbage, or if it's working but I'm perhaps missing some crucial detail. The model is Cooler Master Real Power Pro 1000W ESA. It's strange because the PSU fan and CPU fans spin, but it never loads the BIOS.

This is what happened so far:

1. Bought a used PC on Craigslist. It was working when I bought it, and I tore it down, cleaned it, then reassembled it. Now it doesn't work.
2. When I use all the exact same parts but a different PSU, the system works fine. Which leads me to be certain the PSU is the culprit.
3. When I plug the PSU in and power on, the PSU fan and CPU fans spin, but the BIOS doesn't load. Never reaches the BIOS screen.
4. I tested the PSU in "diagnostic mode" and all the connectors supply the correct voltage.

Anyone know what's going on? It just feels to me that I'm missing some little detail or tweak, but is it possible I completely killed it just by disassembling the system? Seems hard to believe.

That does make it sound like the PSU is the culprit.

Sounds like it could be weak on one rail under load.

You've tried clearing the CMOS?

First I would check the pins inside the connector.sometime they come out just a bit and don't make full contact.

Yeah, cleared it a couple times.

Good idea. Maybe a pin got pulled loose when I disconnected everything - let me double check.

*edit* Nope, all the pins are secure. I guess I really killed it by taking it out of the case? 🙁
