Odd payphone website...

I have been receiving so many calls on my cell about computer questions I decided to change my voicemail to a message about the cirucit being to busy etc.? The problem was that I couldn't find any recordings anywhere on the net until i found this site: Payphone Directory. It has all kinds of recordings from all of the major companies that could come in handy, plus a huge listing of payphone numbers and locations. It is really quite odd that someone is compiling all that info, so i figured I would share.

Expired. *sigh* But while I'm here, perhaps someone can identify this signal I heard and remembered all these years from a payphone back in 1986. I called my home number without money and heard this instead of the usual "please deposit money" response: Male voice (semi-robotic very smooth sounding for the time period): "R.A. 1 Channel 4. R.A. 1 Channel 4. R.A. 1 Channel 4. R.A. 1." Pause and repeat. I made the same attempt a second time and got the same results.
