Odd Palm V version...

I have a Palm V and everyone has told me that Palm V has 2MB. However, upon checking my Palm it says I have 8MB. Am I the only Palm V with 8MB? I don't get it!

The Palm Vx is suppose to be the model with 8MB, correct?

If this isn't considered to be "General Hardware" then please move it to another section and I apologize for posting in the wrong section.
 
Some companies offer modification service for Palm V to have a 8 MB capacity. Are you sure yours is a Palm V, not a Vx?
 
I think I get it now. Someone on another board has a Palm Vx but the front of his Palm like mine says "Palm V" also. This may have been an earlier version Palm and later they added the "x" after the "Vx" to signify that it had a 8MB so people wouldn't think it was the same as the 2MB one. Well thats what I think anyways. I'm glad to have solved this mystery, hehe.
