Odd Outlook PW dialog Box

Hey All,

Been trying to figure this out myself but have not been able. What is happening is a random PW dialog box show up in Outlook randomly. Its asking for the user name and password but the funny thing is its not for the exchange server is for some server by the name of
ex-ch-003-sfo.shared.themessagecenter.com

I tried googleing this but have not found really any useful info.


Has anyone come across this?

This sounds very suspicious to me. I would not provide any info.

Go into Account Settings and see what email accounts are configured under that profile. It sounds like it's trying to access a hosted account. Are you sure that your company doesn't use hosted exchange? Who manages your network/email?

Nope not a hosted exchange. It is on premise exchange server
