Odd mouse problem

For some reason when I click on any explorer windows or the desktop my mouse moves fairly slowly. However, when I Click on any other programs window, the mouse goes back to the usual speed. Anyone know any reasons for this?

I have a logitech MX700
 
Wow, that was a quick fix. I guess the logitech software though that any other program besides windows was a "game" so it turned acceleration off(it to be off), which I like. This led to the difference in speeds.
