ODD motherboard problem.

I have the epox 8kda3j motherboard and i have managed to install windows XP and get everything good, but anytime my computer wants to restart it will not POST, but instead the screen will turn black and the monitor light will turn yellow as if theres nothing for it to read, and then i have to turn it off, reset the CMOS with the jumper, and then i can restart it, it then goes to the POST screen and leaves me with the options to hit F1 to continue in which it boots windows up and everything is ok or hit delete to enter setup and it brings me to the CMOS, if i hit F1 everything is good until i have to restart the computer again in which case i have to reset the cmos again, if i go into the setup i can change whatever i want, but when i go to save and exit the computer reboots to the black screen where i have to reset the cmos once again in effect nullifying anything i just changed.. this is REALLY annoying, i suppose a solution could be to never turn my computer off again, but its really not economical when new software i install requires the computer to reboot, any help with this would be great. thanks
