Odd little vista proble

i was having a sound issue so i go to control panel to adjust my audio propertys and when i clock the icon it closes instantly, tried it a few more times same thing. rebooted, same thing. Anyone got any thoughts or idea's?


EDIT. nvm, restored it was a patch, didnt notice i installed one.
