Odd Internet Explorer error

Sometimes when I reload a web page, it will look like this. Do you know how can I fix it?

wow, IE is spitting out html rather than rendering it. thats pretty bad. try reinstalling IE.

I tried to reinstall IE, but it won't reinstall. I'm running XP, maybe that's why... Any other thoughts?
