Running into an odd problem with IE on my work machine.
After running for a few minutes, even when it's sitting on a blank page, IE starts eating up 96-99% of my CPU cycles while grinding all other operations of the computer to a near standstill. Shut down IE and all returns to normal. For the life of me I cannot figure out what's happening.
System stats:
IE 6.0.2600
Win2000 Pro SP2
950 MHz Celeron (Gateway piece o' junk
)
Intel 810e MB
192 MB RAM
Integrated Intel Graphics (blech)
Intel PRO/100 VE Network card
Anything else?
