My friend called me awhile ago about an error message showing on her screen.
"A fatal exception OE has occured at 0028: C0005338 in VxD VMM (01)+00004338. The invalid VxD link call from VMM(01)+000B24C to device '43E3', service EA77. Your windows configuration is invalid. Run the windows setup program again to correct this problem. To continue running windows press Y or enter. To quit the current program press N. If you continue running windows, your system may become unstable. Do you want to continue?"
Does this make sense to anybody out here? My GUESS is it has something to do with the video card. Any help or suggestion is highly appreciated.

Run setup again. See what happens after it's reset. Also, if you suspect the video card, replace it with an off the shelf 4 0r 8Mb card and see if that helps.
