That's what I'm seeing; appears to be fine. I also can't reproduce this issue anywhere.

Is anybody else seeing anything like this?

hmmm ..
It's not a hardware issue , I'm on a different machine now , and I still see the incorrect one...
As long as I'm the only one seeing it , I guess it's not an issue.
Thanks for looking into it.

Curious. I am not seeing that behavior at all, no matter how long I watch the post.

Can I ask what browser you two are using? Any extensions/add-ons that might be causing this? I don't doubt that either of you are actually seeing that, but further investigations will prove rather fruitless if we are unable to reproduce this.

Fwiw, I'm not seeing it. Using Firefox (latest version) with several add-ons including NoScript blocking everything except those from anandtech.com, ajax.googlapis.com, and googletagmanager.com, if that helps any...

The plot thickens!

Was able to reproduce it after turning off uBlock Origin, which coincides with the details that have emerged so far. Possibly some sort of script somewhere. I would not have expected something like this to be happening.

I will let the devs know and see what they think.

Not that I really know what I'm talking about as far as web develoment is concerned, but just the fact that allisolm reported that the previous text "appeared" after the post was initially displayed properly (in addition to the fact that I'm not seeing the phenomenon and I'm allowing only the most functionally necessary scripts at all) seemed to suggest that it is indeed some sort of scripting problem, though of course I have no idea which one(s) might causing the trouble...

Not seeing a problem with firefox. I typically only allow Anandtech in NoScript but i allowed the other scripts to load while looking at the link allisolm posted. No change when each was loaded.
ajax.googleapis
perfdrive
google-analytics
googletagmanager

Even tried looking with different themes.

It was a funky script from one of our ad partners. It had a pretty weird trigger; in essence, because you omitted a space after the period at the end of one sentence, it parsed it as a link and attempted to do some odd stuff. We've disabled it though, so it shouldn't cause any more trouble.

If this pops up again, please let us know!
