This is somewhat odd. Running Win2k, Direct3D suddenly stopped working. When running WinME, on the same machine (Tbird 900, ASUS A7V, Geforce2 GTS), everything is fine. OpenGL works ok, and I've reinstalled DirectX 8 and video card drivers (6.50, 6.62 and 10.80).

When running DxDiag, all 3 DirectX Features (DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP Texturing) are not available, but there are no reported problems.

What do you guys think?:confused::frown::confused:

Download a directx uninstaller. I can't remember where to get one, but they are out there.

Yep ... IRQ 9. But this is probably due to ACPI. I'll check in the BIOS. The strange thing is that Direct3D has worked before. It just stopped working all of a sudden (sp?:eek:).

Sometimes you need to reload the drivers for your videocard once in awhile, especially nVidia cards. Give it a shot. It won't hurt.

LuciferHaze: quote from myself:

I've already reinstalled, upgraded, downgraded every driver. I've tried upgrading DX8 to DX8a, but I get the same problem ....
