odd BEEPING when i change cpu voltage?

i just got a northwind rev 2.0 GFD. i am trying to o/c my t-bird 700 to 900. the problem is that whenever i change the voltage to 1.85, which is high enough to boot into win 2000, somethign starts beeping..........and i know it is somethign with the board because when i took the cpu out of my asus k7m and put it into my FIC sd11, it posted, ran fine, and didn't beep. btw, the SD11 system is running win 98 se while my k7m system is running win 2000.

also, when i try and post at 900 with 1.8 voltage, my win 2000 says that there was some error, and i get a blue screen.

can ansyone PLEASE help??!?!
