Odd - 1 PC in my home can not access news servers...

All PCs share the same connection via router to a Cable modem. My main PC can NOT access ANY news servers, while my work laptop can. All else is fine with the PC: POP, Internet, Etc work fine.

My newsserver does not require userid/pass and I can't access all the other public news servers I tested. Message is

"Unable to connect to server"

Configuration:
Account: news.optonline.net
Server: 167.206.3.2
Protocol: NNTP
Port: 119
Secure(SSL): 0
Code: 800ccc0e


Any Idea??
 
Tried that too without success. Also updated my Intel Pro/1000 MT drivers, and uninstalled all my McAfee software thinking that might be the issue...still no go.
