ODBC - DSN assistance

How do I get a Named Table inside an Excel 2007 XLSM file to be a system DSN for other programs (such as access/crystal reports).

I tried creating the DSN using the microsoft excel xlsx xlsb xlsm odbc driver, but when i go into crystal to open the DSN, I dont see any defined tables. (I have tried making the group of cells a named range and a table) but neither will appear for me.
