OCZ vs Vantec Ramsinks

OCZ is Aluminum vs Vantec's being copper. Plus they will be going on a 9800 w/Silencer V2

Cost Deleivered OCZ $13, Vantec $18 or is there another option ?

If your using the ramsinks with the VGA silencer, do you put on the ram sinks first or the silencer? I was thinking that putting on the ram sinks first would be easier but someone on this forum said that the silencer should be put on before the ramsinks ( I forgot who, but i read it yesterday). Also, would using arctic silver thermal epoxy make much of a difference cooling the ram or should I just use the tape that comes with the ramsinks?

There is no way you could put the silencer on second, it covers the ram

I found this review that mentiones the use of a Thermal compound Vs the attached Thermal tape.

In short, there is a bit better (heat xfer) using the compound but a pain to remove the tape that comes attached to the ramsinks. Use the stock thermal pads
