OCZ Vertex SSD crashes and reboots

I have recently noticed that my OCZ Vertex SSD crashes my system periodically and then when the system reboots, the bios cannot find the drive. I have my OS on the SSD and all my programs on other drives. The only way that I can fix this issue is by powering off my system and turning it back on. Has anyone run into this issue or have any suggestions?

I do have the 1.5 version of the firmware. Sometimes the error on the reboot says Boot Mgr missing, other times its a Windows error.

bad power supply or cheap sata cable. might check the connectors to see if anything has separated (bad solder). on both sides (mobo/drive)

yes,i've got the same problem 3 days ago myself, just mailed the drive yesterday to one of the tech support at ocz forum so he can fix it.I'm beginning to see a lots of people having that problem at the ocz forum as well, drive dissappearing, file corrupt ect.

Especially since firmware 1.5. I'm wondering if there are a few loose ends on that firmware....scares me on my Vertex 120.:awe:
