Great article  What you need to know:

1. This drive is a gamechanger - finally, high-speed SSD writes for CHEAP
2. The Mac version gives the SAME performance as the non-Mac version

Available in 30gb - 250gb capacities. The best bang-for-your-buck is the 120gb model for $375:

The 250gb model is around $825, so you might as well get two 120 gig drives and RAID them - even better performance in RAID 0 Striping with nearly the same capacity for around $75 less. You can get compatible 3.5" adapter rails for ten bucks on Newegg:

There's also the EX model, which bumps writes from 150-170 MB/s to 200-210 MB/s for more money.

Slap this puppy in your Mac or Hack

Yah, same. I can live with $375 - for my next build. $800 for an SSD was just way too much, but $375 for 250 MB/s seems like a pretty fair deal given the cost and effort of setting up a RAID system.
