Using this in combo drops it to $4.99 AR ($19.99 - $15.00 rebate) so there are options (Artec speakers or mouse that are FAR when used in combo to get this cheaper).

for 7 or 8 bux this is an ok cooler, but i was very disappointed in the performance, so disappointed in fact that i asked for a rma replacement for the second one i bought (had put the first one on a cooler cpu when it didn't perform well) and they sent me a v2... the ocz folks were very responsive...

just wanting to be sure that people's expectations on this cooler aren't too high... for whatever reason, i find that it performs at a level below a tx2 or freezer pro...

Hmm, tempting. But now that it's getting cooler I'm getting ~25 on my X3 720's stock cooler. For $8 you can't go wrong right?

As long as the noise doesn't bother you on that, the temps are very good. You don't need this unless you just want it (and will it cool better or quieter? Maybe but maybe not).

If you don't mind the rebate, buy the Artec speakers ($15.00 - $15.00 rebate = FREE) to get the above for $4.99. Get another buck back by going 3% Bing cash back.

I bought the Asus cooler as well a this one, both for $9.98 AR - $1.20 bing - $0.50 (credit card) + $.86 (two stamps) = $9.14

Didn't really need it but can never go wrong with extra cpu coolers around, especially using them on the 45W BE2400's that I have in use (can free up the better Zerotherm and HyperTX coolers I'm using on them right now! 😀 )
